Chemical and thermal resistance

The information given is related to plastics used with laboratory glassware.

To complement DURAN® laboratory glassware products as listed in our webshop, various plastic products such as screw caps are available. Their chemical and thermal resistance properties are listed in the following tables.

The values given are only to be regarded as being guidelines to help you determine the appropriate laboraqtory glassware combination for your specific needs. Many factors can affect the chemical and thermal resistance of a given product.

In critical cases it is essential that a test is carried out first under your own laboratory conditions to ensure that the laboratory glassware product you are using is fully compatible with your usage. Suitability of packaging materials for specific product applications must be confirmed by / is the responsibility of the end-user.
